Stefano Miele, better known as Riva Starr, is a distinguished DJ, producer, and the mastermind behind Snatch! Records and Brock Wild. Based in East London, Riva Starr has become renowned for his ability to transcend genre constraints and defy expectations, leaving a lasting impact on the global music scene.
 
With an unparalleled ability to energise any dancefloor, Riva Starr has graced the stages of the world's most iconic festivals, including Glastonbury and Fuji Rock. His label, Snatch!, has hosted its own tents at Creamfields and Tomorrowland, solidifying his influence in the industry. His talent has also led him to open for Jamiroquai in Ibiza and collaborate with a diverse array of artists, such as Horace Andy, Jocelyn Brown, Green Velvet, and Arthur Baker. His remix portfolio includes work for Wiley and London Grammar, showcasing his versatility.
 
Riva Starr's insatiable musical appetite has made him a unique figure in the music industry. He has achieved global success with ‘Eat Sleep Rave Repeat” with Fatboy Slim, an iTunes smash hit, while continuing to release tracks on top underground labels like Dirtybird, Hot Creations, Truesoul, Crosstown Rebels, and Moon Harbour. His 'The Loft EP' on Cajual dominated the Beatport and Traxsource charts for over three months and received unprecedented continuous support on BBC Radio 1 for nine weeks. His remix of Groove Armada's 'Superstylin’' and collaborations with Gene Farris and Dennis Cruz have topped the Beatport charts for more than two months, while his own release, 'The Wickedest Sound,' stayed in the charts for over eight months.
 
Riva Starr has collaborated with industry giants such as Armand Van Helden, Calvin Harris, Diplo, CamelPhat, Ursula Rucker, Mark Broom (as Star B), Robert Owens (on Joris Voorn’s Rejected), and Tiger Stripes. His remixes for Carl Cox, Claptone, Flight Facilities, and Bob Sinclar's classic 'Vision of Paradise' have further cemented his reputation. His relentless creativity led to the release of his fourth album on Adam Beyer’s Truesoul, which topped the 'Top Ten Release' in ten different genres on Beatport and received support from numerous key players in the industry.
 
In 2023, Defected Records recognised Riva Starr's contributions to house music by inviting him to curate the prestigious 'House Masters' series. This collection celebrates his career and introduces new listeners to his significant tracks, remixes, and exclusive unreleased material. October 2024 sees the release of the first single from the long-awaited “Keep MeOn The Dancefloor” album, set to be released in March 2025 on Snatch! Records.
